Mindfulness Activities at the Zen Center of Denver

Mindfulness training is a wonderful complement to formal Zen training and is also accessible to those who wish to deepen their appreciation of their life and ability to navigate its inevitable challenges, but do not wish to participate in Zen practice. The Zen Center of Denver hosts Mindfulness Practice events from time to time, and most are open to the public. Two of the Zen Center Teachers have trained formally in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. There is now a large body of evidence showing the benefits of mindfulness practice. “Every Minute Zen” and other formal practices are available to all members working with any teacher of the Zen Center.
At this time, we are no longer holding Mindfulness Saturdays or regular evening events. We will post information about any upcoming events as they are planned.
